Max Houston Oppenheimer is a seasoned teacher and web developer with a passion for creating applications that enhance users' experiences and enrich their lives. Currently serving as Lead Instructor at Flatiron School, he oversees the immersive 15-week full-stack web development course, guiding students and teaching assistants through the full-stack Ruby portion of the curriculum, and delivering engaging lessons on Object Oriented Ruby, Sinatra, and Ruby on Rails. Before joining Flatiron School, Max worked as a Software Consultant for his own self-employed software development business, where he honed his skills in web development and gained valuable experience in project management. He also worked as a Software Consultant for Tandem, where he helped clients develop and implement custom software solutions to meet their unique business needs. Max's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Tulane University, where he graduated in 2015. He has also continued to expand his knowledge and skills in web development through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Max's technical expertise includes Ruby and web development, and he has over nine years of relevant experience in the field.
